NEW YORK – 21 September, 2017 – SRi’s North American facing brand SRiCheyenne has today announced that Jamie Waldron has joined as a Partner and will launch the firm’s West Coast media and entertainment executive search operations from Los Angeles.
SRiCheyenne, a premier global executive search and consulting boutique, was created in January following the merger of the US-based media and content recruitment experts Cheyenne Group and UK-headquartered SRi (formerly Sports Recruitment International).
The appointment of Waldron is the third senior appointment in quick succession for the global boutique firm following Keith McAllister joining SRiCheyenne as a Partner to lead the Digital Media, Technology and Private Equity practice in New York, and Ashling O’Connor appointed to lead SRi’s EMEA Digital, Media and Content practice from London.
Waldron joins from his previous position of President of Sucherman Group, a management consulting and executive search firm, where he won and executed C-suite-level assignments for a wide range of blue-chip media and entertainment clients.
Before his career as an executive search professional, Waldron was President of Team Entertainment Group, Television Packaging Agent at Creative Artists Agency, EVP Programming at Pearson Television North America, SVP at Gerber/ITC Entertainment and Director, Creative Affairs at Viacom Productions.
Waldron holds a journalism degree from the University of Georgia and is a volunteer responder in the Mayor’s Office of Los Angeles’ Crisis Response Team.
