SRi helps ECB appoint New T20 Board

New board members are proven business leaders with backgrounds in major sporting events, media, technology, FMCG and entertainment.

3 April 2018, London – SRi is proud to have worked with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to assemble a board of digital entrepreneurs, entertainment leaders and social engagement experts to advise on the future of the game.

The New T20 Board is the next stage in the development of the ECB’s new eight-team T20 competition, set to start in 2020.
The eleven-strong body draws on independent expertise from the business and entertainment sectors alongside representatives from the First-Class county game and the ECB’s senior management team.

Acting in an advisory role to the ECB’s main Board of Directors, the new T20 Board will have sub-committee status and oversee the design, implementation and all operational aspects of the new competition.
SRi, the premier global boutique executive search for the sport, media and entertainment industries, led the global search for six independent members of the ECB’s new T20 board, which will be chaired by ECB Chairman Colin Graves.
